Common Denominator on diet!

This site is too fat! Since size ZERO is the new in-thing so Common Denominator is gonna go micro. What’s the difference? Well, for one you won’t have much of a website to go to. So from now on, if you would like to follow this blog, you’ll have to subscribe to it. Here’s the place Common Denominator will now be on – http://friendfeed.com/commondenominator

For those who like to go to websites (or have no idea what I’m talking about) don’t worry, there’s still an alternative for you. Just go to www.thinking-aloud.com and you’ll see updates in the widget on the right hand column. I’ll also be patching the feed to my Facebook account so it’ll automatically appear there too.

My hope is that Common Denominator will evolve as a group where people can share and discuss similar interests. But we’ll see how that goes.

So, I’ll leave this place up for about a month so the message gets out and then I’ll close it down (unless there’s some tremendous protest or something which I highly doubt ). Thanks to all the readers so far, it’s been fun but hopefully this new direction will help simplify my blogging habits further and leave me time to pursue more *clears throat* meaningful things in life. Haha.

Not to be confused with Avatar: The Last Airbender, this is the movie James Cameron has been working on since Titanic (I think). If that’s true it taken a long long long time to get this out. Talk about patience man. Will all that time pay off? Gotta watch it in December to find out. From the trailer, the world of Pandora looks gorgeous though.

Plot:

A paraplegic ex-marine war veteran (Sam Worthington) is unwillingly sent to establish a human settlement on the distant planet of Pandora, only to find himself battling humankind alongside the planet’s indigenous Na’vi race in this ambitious, digital 3-D sci-fi epic from Academy Award-winning Titanic director James Cameron

Canon Flood

Wow, the guys at Canon really know how to overwhelm you. Check out photos of all these new models announced. Of all these probably the most anticipated is the G11 which is a prosumer camera suitable for DSLR users who don’t want to lug around their ‘cannon’ in less official circumstances. Also pretty good for serious hobbyists. Ok, that sounded like an oxymoron… haha. It’s right up there with cameras like LX3 (LX4 where are you?) from Panasonic and perhaps Olympus E-p1 (maybe this one’s a little bit of a cheat since it’s hardly a point-and-shoot anymore). Oh, the S90 has the same sensor as the G11 though, so it packs a punch too. Ok, enough talking, here are the links!
